eligible for this scale. Generally speaking, the best way to ensure that
the account is in good standing (especially for customers that are not from
North American educational institutions) is to use credit or debit card for payment.
We accept VISA, Master Card, and American Express credit/debit/gift cards
(as well as payments by PayPal, Western Union, MoneyGram, and TT transfers). The card must be working at the time of shipping,
when it will be charged. All orders at the 100 nmol scale must be placed
by e-mail, using our special order form in Microsoft Excel format, please
e-mail us your request for the form
(the forms are not available for download from this site, because they
differ by country/province, language etc., and because not everyone is
eligible). The order form will automatically calculate the price of
each oligo, and the total for your order. 100 nmol (0.1 micromole) synthesis scale will yield
typically 0.040-0.150 micromole (40-150 nmol) final product for a regular
size, standard purity, non-modified oligo. Guaranteed minimum 6 OD260 (longer oligos) or 25 nmole (shorter oligos) for desalted non-modified oligos; modified
and additionally purified oligos may have considerably lower yields. Standard purity includes free desalting. All oligos are quantified
and three different units of measure are provided to the customer.
The relation between these three units is calculated by a computer, but
as an approximation for a 20 base long oligo, 50 nmole equals approx.
10 OD260 units or 300 micrograms.
